Graduate & Intern Programmes
Graduates
Unfortunately our Graduate campaign for 2012 intake has now closed. However, if you would like to be the first to hear about our 2013 intake as soon as our applications open please give us your details.
Our 2 year graduate programme offers you an incredible opportunity to be part of our market leading organisation at a time of enormous and exciting change as we prepare to separate from RBS Group. There is plenty to get involved with and we’ll expect you to hit the ground running when you start.
To help you, all graduates take part in an intensive 2 week induction and ‘business bootcamp’ before starting with their teams. This intensive induction will teach you everything you need to know about our organisation and the business area you are joining to ensure you get off to a great start. To support you even further you’ll have your own buddy and line manager and will have the opportunity to attend regular training courses to ensure your business knowledge continues to evolve. If you want to study towards relevant professional qualifications, we’ll support you to achieve this goal.
Applicants for our graduate programme can choose to apply for a role in one of 3 business areas, each one offering a range of placements to suit your individual skills and interests.
Application Details:
- Deadline: 31st December 2011
- Start date: 10th September 2012
- You must choose one business area to apply to (see options below)
- Applicants must have a 2.1 or 1st class degree (if you are still studying we’ll look at your predicted grade) and a minimum of 300 UCAS points achieved at A Level
- All our programmes require graduates to have good numeracy skills although some business areas place greater emphasis on this than others
Each business area has a specific set of ideal skills– visit the specific page to find out more:

Interns
Our 8 week summer internship programme is open to penultimate year undergraduates and offers ambitious students the chance to see if our organisation offers what you are looking for from a potential graduate employer. You’ll be placed in one team for the duration of the programme and assigned a project that culminates in a presentation to the executive board. You’ll also work closely with your buddy and line manager on the delivery of day-to-day tasks to help you get a clear understanding of the work undertaken within your chosen business area.
You’ll start the programme with an intensive 2 day induction to help you settle in and gain a better understanding of our organisation and what we can offer you. Throughout the summer, interns attend regular social and business networking events and attend seminars delivered by our business heads to help you develop skills that will be valuable to you in the workplace. We’ll also pair you up with a buddy and assign a dedicated line manager to support and guide you.
At the end of the summer, top performers will be offered a place on our graduate programme the following year.

Industrial Placements
If you’re looking for a paid fixed term work placement as part of your degree, you might want to consider applying to our Industrial Placement scheme. We have placements across many areas of our business, including Market Research & Analysis, Analytics, Commercial and our Chief Operating Office. If you work hard and impress us during your placement we’ll make you a direct offer for our graduate programme the following year – no need to re-apply.
This flexible programme is intended to meet the unique needs of each student applicant as well as the changing nature of our business – therefore start dates and placement lengths will vary and there isn’t a specific application deadline. Instead, we will review applications on a rolling basis, so you should try to apply as early as possible using our online application form.
